I just wanted to take a moment and say THANK YOU to all of you who have used my amazon affiliate link this year to purchase all of your amazon stuff! Last year I made about $25, so this year I set a goal of $50. As of today, I've made about $70 - yay! I know that isn't much, but it's something for this stay-at-home-homeschool-no-money-making mama. :) I only make around 4% of each purchase, so this is not get rich quick scheme or anything.
Being an amazon affiliate works for me since I make a horrible salesperson. I stink at trying to get people to spend money on something that they might not need or don't have the money for. Of course, I do sometimes post links to products I love from my blog, but there's no obligation to buy that particular item. :) Anyway, thanks again, and please feel free to continue doing your normal amazon shopping using my link. I'll post another report at the end of the year, and maybe up my goal for next year!

Pin It Now!
Coleslaw is one of my favorite summer side dishes. Even though I will eat it on the sweet side, this recipe is less sweet but just right! In fact, as soon as I post this, I'm going to go make some. :)

Coleslaw is one of my favorite summer side dishes. Even though I will eat it on the sweet side, this recipe is less sweet but just right! In fact, as soon as I post this, I'm going to go make some. :)
What you'll need:
- 1 bag of shredded coleslaw
- 1/4 onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup mayo
- 1/2 tsp. of salt
- 1/2 tsp. of favorite seasoning salt (I use a blend of salt, pepper, garlic powder, and turmeric.)
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 tsp. lemon pepper
- 1 TBS. white sugar
- 2 1/4 TBS. white vinegar
- Dash of dry mustard
- Dash of paprika
What you'll do:
Mix all ingredients thoroughly with a spoon. Dust the top with more pepper and seasonings as you wish. Cover and refrigerate for about 2-3 hours or more. You may or may not need to add more mayo - depends on how creamy you like it.
* I often double this recipe to make sure there are plenty of leftovers!
