My two favorite ways to disinfect my house:
1. Spraying Thieves®
2. Diffusing Thieves®
Spraying Thieves®
Thieves® Spray is made with all natural, bacteria-fighting essential oils like clove, cinnamon, lemon, rosemary, and eucalyptus. It comes in a convenient 1 oz. bottle that's super easy to pack in your purse so you can kill germs on the go! I definitely take it on vacation to spray down hotel rooms. Ick.
How do I use it?
- Spray all over my house
- Spray pillows and bedding as I change sheets
- Spray doorknobs, light switches, etc.
If you like the smell of cinnamon and cloves, I think you will like Thieves® Spray. I remember asking out loud one time, "I wonder how my house smells to other people?"
I wasn't expecting an answer, but both my boys said without hesitation, "Our friends always say our house smells like cinnamon."
I was like, "Oh thank goodness!" (Because it sure didn't seem to smell like cinnamon when my house was full of all the neighborhood boys!)
Sometimes I put drops of Thieves® essential oil in my diffuser and let it run for about 10-15 minutes a few times a day. It's a great way to slowly release the oil into the air. I have the older version of what's pictured here.
Those are the two ways I like to disinfect my home, but there is one last product I'd like to mention that I think fits into the disinfecting category:
Thieves® Waterless Hand Purifier
I was never really into hand sanitizer until I found this all natural one. Now, I never leave home without it! I always have one of these in my purse so I can disinfect my hands at any time. I was SO glad I had some with me at the store one day when I picked up a package of meat that had blood on it -- NASTY!
Happy disinfecting!
