Works For Me Wednesday: Home Made Cilantro Salsa

Pin It Now!

Years ago at my mother-in-law's house in Tennessee, I tasted the best, most yummiest, home made salsa, and I have been making it ever since.

Home Made Cilantro Salsa

* 1 can mexican rotel
* 1 can southwestern tomatoes and jalepenos
* 1 can diced tomatoes
* fresh cilantro
* 2 tsp. minced garlic
* 1 tsp. cumin
* 1 tsp. olive oil
* 3 tsp. lemon juice
* 1/2 onion
* garlic salt to taste

** Mix all ingredients together in a blender. (Garlic salt is important!!!! Not too much and not too little-- You may have to do a few tastes to get it just right.) :)

I love to serve it with all natural blue corn chips but any will do. ENJOY!

Thanks B!

I can't wait to try it. Thanks for posting. We have a couple of huge parties coming up soon, so I think I'll make a big batch and test it out then. Just to be prepared, I'm going to make little cards with the directions on them, because I'm pretty sure it'll be a huge hit...and I'll give you all the credit!!!
