What You Need For 2 Punch Bowls:
- 1 gallon of Blue Hawaiian Punch
- 2 - 2 liters of Sprite, 7-Up, or Ginger Ale
- 1 gallon of vanilla ice cream (or pineapple sorbet for some yummy flavor!)
What You'll do:
Combine 1/2 of the Hawaiian Punch and 1 bottle of soda in a punch bowl. Scoop 1/2 of the ice cream (or less depending on how much "fluff" you want) on top.
*For super fizzy ice cream which looks more like bubbles, add in half of the ice cream after the Hawaiian Punch, and then pour in soda last.
Tips:
- Make ice cubes with some of the Hawaiian Punch to keep punch chilled longer.
- Large rubber ducks work better than mini rubber ducks. They seem to be able to stay afloat. The minis just tip over.
- Adding in some apple juice or using pineapple ice cream/sorbet gives the punch some extra yummy flavor.

Do you use ice to keep it cold? thanks!
The last time it was made, yes, ice was added. Ice cubes were made out of the juice, though, not water. I don't remember using ice this first time I made it, but I used cold juice and cold soda. The ice cream kept it pretty cold. Hope that helps. :)
I have used a bundt cake pan to make ice ring using half soda half Hawaiian punch
