Tatattooie

Pin It Now! Goodnight Moon!! I tell you what, the shock still hasn't worn off yet, and I have lived here now for 10 months. Every other person's flesh is decorated with tattoos out here. Even the women have these huge tattoos they seem so proud to display. While I will not go as far as to say they are immoral or anything, to me they sure are gross. A huge turn off really--sort of like smoking and beer drinking--ew. Now I know to some one or all of the above mentioned are really super, but no way not for me.
I am sure in time it won't even phase me, and who knows maybe I will be lured into getting one myself. Those little Care Bear hearts would be cute--just kidding.

Do ya think it's that more people out there have them, or is it that it's so hot out there & people wear less clothes that ya just see more of them?

I have noticed that the tatoos seem to span the ages. Not really just the youngsters have them, saw a 60-70 something w/one the other day...yes, female. She was a biker chick...Litespeed Titanium, not a Harley.

I almost cried when I got my ears pierced the 2nd time, no way I'm gonna pay someone to poke me w/a needle over & over...no thanks! Too chicken!

But T's palm tree is actually pretty cute. Each to his own...

Just imagine all these 20 and 30 something year olds in 50 years. Gonna be a bunch of saggy old women with wrinkled tattoos and pierced body parts. LOL Not gonna be pretty. :)

From what mark says there are definately larger more predominant tattoos out there. Ya dont see too many women here with chest armour round these parts.

"Chest armour"...not that's a mental picture I can definitely do without! Yikes!

Shelly has bee & a flower on her ankle. At least ankle skin doesn't usually get too wrinkly. :-)

I guess I came off sounding anti-tattoo with my comment. I'm really not, to each his own, and I've seen some really cute ones. It's the hideously large ones, or the ones that take up entire body parts that I think are ugly. Especially on women. But I've even pondered getting a thumbnail size rose in the past, but was always too chicken to do it. It's the women (and men) who get them in every space available that make me wonder if they've given any thought to what they'll end up looking like as they age. That tattoo on your hip will end up on your groin one day. It's called gravity. :)
