Pin It Now!
For the past couple of days my body has ached like I have the flu or something. I do not have a fever nor do I have any other symptoms, except I have felt a little chilly off and on. I am extremely thankful that I don't have a fever as I am able to continue with school and chores etc., but I still don't feel very good. My body hurts!!
Anyway, last night after Daddy prayed for Mommy to feel better, Lincoln in all seriousness said,
"Mommy, maybe you have a pinch of a turd."
"A what????"
"A pinch of a turd."
"I have no idea what you mean!" (I am trying to keep from laughing)
"You know, like Grandma has."
"Oh!!!!!! A pinched nerve!!!!" Of course, after that revelation we all just died laughing!!
Kids are funny. :)

That made me laugh right out loud!
this is so cute. Thanks for dropping by I appreciate the comforting words! hope you are feeling better soon!
Hey, it was good to hear from you! I taught Tuesday morning and Tuesday night on "Irregular People." We all seem to have them but no one wants to admit it. It seems to contridict our theology to admit that some people in our lives are just plain diffcult to love! The message was well received so I imagine more people suffer with irregular people than they like to let on! We start the Moms Ministry the first week of Feb. and I am getting geared up for it. So glad to read about your family and see that you are all doing well and pressing on for the Lord! Blessings.
That was tooooooo hysterical!!! Thanks for sharing the laugh!!!
Seriously though, I've heard that a pinch of a turd can make you feel really terrible.
(Congratulations, your blog has sunk to new lows.)
I'm hoping I don't have a pinch of a turd either. I've been feeling the same symptoms you described.
Aren't kids hilarious!?
Do you keep a "Lincoln Log"? If not, you should. It would make a great (& VERY FUNNY) gift someday when he gets married! :-)
Sounds like he had the right medicine for you - laughter!
Oh my goodness. I nearly wet my patns reading that!
Did you get the printer/copier/fax/thingamajiggy working?
So, I'm pretty sure I was on the verge of or had pneumonia this week. I think I have kicked it, but we'll see. Good grief.
I'm still so thankful that we were able to go out Sunday. Much, much fun. And much, much needed.
:)
