Frozen Chocobanana Bites

Pin It Now!
That's what I call my latest "healthy" dessert. It would make a pretty fun, summer snack, too.

Here's what I did:

I sliced two peeled bananas. I spread them out onto a plate and sprinkled unsweetened, organic coconut flakes on them. Then I melted about 1 1/4 cups of dark chocolate chunks in the microwave. (I added a pat of butter for easier melting, but coconut oil works well, too.) After the chocolate had thoroughly melted, I poured it over the coconutty banana slices and spread to coat evenly. I even sprinkled some of the chocolate covered banana chunks with finely chopped walnuts. Place in freezer for a few hours and you will have yourself a delicious frozen treat!

It was a huge family hit. :)
