Question

Literacy Musing Mondays April 17-22

My Answer: Yes, I've read both, and if you haven't, I highly recommend them! I read Choosing to See a few years ago and Between Heaven & the Real World a few weeks ago.

I love that both of these books are raw and real. Steven and Mary open up and share their lives with us. Not only do they share their stories - their backgrounds and what makes each of them tick - but they share their human struggles and how they dealt with one of the worst things that a parent can experience.

Steven's book is freshest on my mind, and let me tell you, both my husband and I breezed through it. It's really good. And the best part is seeing how God held the Chapman family together with His steadfast love and how He blessed them with some pretty amazing signs. Warning: make sure you have a box of tissues handy. You will definitely need them by the end.

Last Week’s Top Clicked Post!

12 Things You Should Know About Caring For the Elderly

My Favorite Post of the Week

Yep, I did it again! My favorite is the same as the most clicked. :) While I haven't had to care for aging parents yet, this post struck me since several ladies that were in my spring Bible study group are dealing with this very issue. I think Barbara has some great advice on how to help care for elderly people. If you or someone you know is currently caring for someone who is older, Barbara's post is helpful and encouraging.
