Question
If you're married, how many anniversaries have you celebrated? My Answer: On May 10th, my husband and I celebrated a major marriage milestone - 20 years! I don't think either one of us were prepared for how difficult the journey would be. But, over the years I've learned to enjoy the good times and persevere through the bad times. I always go back to the Christina Rossetti quote that I recorded so long ago in my wedding album. We're one, and with God we can journey on!
I'd love to know your answers! Please share in the comments. :)
Now let's meet our hosts:
Last Week’s Top Clicked Post!
First Step to Confront with Grace and Linkup
By Beth Steffaniak
Last week, the theme was forgiveness. This week the focus in on grace and the power of confronting those who have done us wrong entwined with grace and forgiveness. You can learn much when you visit our weekly most clicked and favorite posts. I really recommend this one because it provides an important lesson.
My Favorite Post of the Week
I'm type A, so typically I'm not a quitter. However, that doesn't mean I don't struggle with feeling like a failure more often than I care to admit. In fact, I frequently feel like I just can't seem to measure up.
Lance has written a thoughtful approach to perceiving and facing failure. Lance reminds us that as believers, ultimately, in Christ we can't truly fail. We shouldn't define our measure of success by whether or not we're meeting our life's aspirations. It's not about what we can do but what Christ as called us to do.
